Vigor Vandana

My therapeutic style is centered around respect and empathy, infused with humor and warmth. My aim is to help you alleviate your pain and become more aware of your feelings, and patterns of relating to yourself and others.

With a heavy psychodynamic influence, I use an integrative, trauma-informed, approach to understand your life experiences. The ways that we’ve learned to cope, our defenses, are rooted in self-protection. What was once useful no longer serves us, and can get in the way of living fully. With curiosity and compassion, we’ll explore where these defenses came from, how early life experiences have shaped you, and have led to your feeling unhappy, lost, or confused and ultimately seeking therapy.

I believe each person has an innate desire to grow, and that is what therapy with me is all about: growth.
